How to Fall!

Everybody falls! Whenever you are truly pushing your physical boundaries, it is common to lose your balance and -- yes -- sometimes even to fall. While falling can be scary and at times disastrous, learning to fall safely can build confidence. In turn, more confidence can result in stronger movement, better balance, and a higher level of mobility throughout your lifespan. Maintaining a repertoire of ground-based movement can ensure that in the event of a fall, you are able to recover and get yourself up and off the ground. 

Taught by our resident physical therapist and movement extraordinaire Joanna Nobbe, this workshop is for adults of all ages and ability levels. Whether you want to go snowboarding or keep your balance walking down the street, you will learn how to fall safely in all directions -- and, in the event of a fall, how to get back up.
