Your feet are the foundation for most of the activities you do! Yet, many of us spend a lifetime ignoring our feet. Stiffness or weakness in the feet, not only manifests as discomfort in the feet themselves, but we also may find ourselves struggling with joint issues in the legs and back, as well as maladaptive changes to our walking, running, and balance in general.
Let’s learn a few simple habits and tips that will better care for and help improve foot function and discover how you can move more freely in all your activities!
A note from Coach Patrick Hogan: ”Cultivate your body to be able to realize the dreams in your mind.” This is the sentiment I apply to myself and my coaching programs for both movement and life. I found my own path through physical practices, connecting to nature, and honing the body's intuitive signals. For over 15 years, I've sought to help others find their way using Life Coaching, Natural Movement, Restorative Exercise, and Meditation. I emphasize aligning to your essential self to discover more purpose, joy, and creativity as well as moving freely with more skill and less pain.
I am a Wayfinder Life Coach (Martha Beck Institute, ACC ICF Certified), Restorative Exercise Specialist (Nutritious Movement Institute), and Natural Movement trainer (Mov Nat Certified). I also have training and certifications in Yoga (RYT-500 and ERYT-200), and Thai Massage (Lotus Palm School) as well as a B.A. from the University of Denver.
I currently live in the Hudson Valley of New York.
I find inspiration by interacting with nature through hiking, skiing, cold immersion, climbing, and walking everywhere barefoot.
